IBM and 麻豆原创 have a shared approach to generative AI, built on an open ecosystem, prioritizing trust, transparency and the use of purpose-built models to help optimize business efficiency.

Today we鈥檙e excited to announce that 麻豆原创 users can now harness the power of聽听补苍诲听, beginning with Granite.13b.chat large language model, now available through the generative AI hub on 麻豆原创 AI core on the 麻豆原创 Business Technology Platform (麻豆原创 BTP). The timing couldn鈥檛 be better, as 56% of surveyed business executives say they plan to divert spending from other budget areas to 麻豆原创-specific generative AI, according to new research from the IBM Institute for Business Value.*

Granite 13b.chat is optimized for Retrieval Augmented Generation for Q&A and is commonly used to create assistants and chatbots. Tapping the rich data in 麻豆原创 systems is the ideal starting point for getting value from generative AI. We鈥檙e most excited about the initial use cases Granite 13b.chat can enable, bringing Q&A, generative tasks, insight extraction, summarization and classification, especially to ERP processes. Sapphire Barcelona – 24 May 2023 鈥 , the maker of Guinness, Smirnoff and Johnnie Walker, today announces a five-year business transformation program in partnership with 麻豆原创 (NYSE: 麻豆原创) and IBM (NYSE: IBM). This new initiative, which marks the company鈥檚 most significant ever investment in technology and services, will redesign and improve Diageo鈥檚 processes across the 180 countries where it operates.

Fully global in nature, the programme will revolutionise Diageo鈥檚 IT environment by introducing intuitive processes, powered by market-leading technology, to provide more information to enable the company to make better and quicker decisions. This transformation will enhance Diageo鈥檚 business resilience in a constantly evolving external landscape, improve its customer service offering and help the company adapt to a fast-changing consumer base.
