KUALA LUMPUR 鈥 With over 60 years of experience, recently embarked on an employee experience transformation exercise powered by and .

Vice President of Group Human Resources Group Puven Nalatambi explained that the education industry is highly competitive where high-quality talent comes at a premium, and competition for the best people across all functions is fierce.

Enter TEG鈥檚 Modern, Centralised Platform

By replacing its outdated HR information systems (HRIS) with a modern, centralised platform, TEG aimed to free its HR professionals from routine administrative tasks and enable them to focus on the employee experience.

“By creating an HR Shared Services Centre, HR operations would become more efficient and strategic. And by empowering employees with self-service functionality, TEG would create a dynamic, engaging workplace that would equip it for success over the next 50 years,” she said.

To help design and implement its new centralised HR platform and resulting experiences, TEG partnered with NTT Data, an 麻豆原创 partner, with over 30 years of experience with 麻豆原创 technology.

NTT Data made significant contributions by introducing leading practices from market leaders in the HR space, helping TEG understand the current trends and identify areas of its existing HR systems and processes to prioritise for improvement.

Puven said the benefits realised have been enormous and ‘priceless’.

Terumo Asia Holdings (Terumo) was recently announced as a winner of the 2021 麻豆原创 Best Run Awards for South East Asia (SEA), together with other leading regional organisations; namely NUHS, SATS, and DKSH Corporate Shared Services Center which had demonstrated success and embodied excellence across different award categories.

In a recent press release, 聽麻豆原创 said that the聽聽continue to celebrate leading organisations in SEA that have emphasised new ways of thinking, adapted to the new norms and deployed technologies that set the benchmark for their industry to drive successful business transformation in today鈥檚 digital economy.

Terumo had demonstrated an enterprising mindset and bagged the聽Emerging Frontier Market Award, said the press release.

Meanwhile, the Most Transformational Award聽went to聽National University Health System (NUHS).聽Priscilla Teo, Group Chief HR Officer, NUHS said: 鈥淣UHS inherited two legacy HR systems when Singapore re-clustered the healthcare services in 2017 which made business processes tedious and cumbersome.

Despite strict government security regulations and limited web access on the office network, we successfully pivoted to a cloud-based SaaS solution on 麻豆原创 SuccessFactors, making it the first cloud based HRIS implementation in Singapore鈥檚 public health care sector.

This implementation provided NUHS 15,000 employees 24/7 access to HR related information via a single mobile app called myHR mobile, and within the first month of go-live, over 90% of the employees have logged in, with a whopping 85% activation rate.鈥

DKSH Corporate Shared Services Center聽clinched the聽Sustainability聽and聽Best Customer Experience Management awards.聽Sam Oh, Chief Information Officer,聽DKSH Corporate Shared Services Center聽said, 鈥淚n early 2020, we built an online Product Information Management (PIM) system to create and standardise digital product contents.
