\u2018Nederlandse organisaties scoren hoog op procesdenken\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>Het streven naar operational excellence staat bij Nederlandse organisaties hoog op de bestuurlijke agenda. Een groot deel heeft de ambitie om value-driven, process-led en data-driven <\/em>te worden. Dit blijkt uit een onderzoek van Business Process Management-specialist Signavio<\/a>, een onderdeel van 麻豆原创<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Voor het onderzoek<\/a> \u2018State of the Nation 2022: Business Process Transformation in the Netherlands\u2019 ondervroeg Signavio ruim honderd IT-specialisten, managers en bestuurders. De respondenten werken allemaal voor Nederlandse bedrijven met minimaal duizend medewerkers.<\/p>\n

80,5 procent van de ondervraagden noemde \u2018operational excellence\u2019 als belangrijkste drijfveer voor een businesstransformatie. 78 procent hoopt dat de transformatie uiteindelijk een kostenbesparing oplevert. Ook het beter kunnen bedienen van klanten (61,0%) en het verbeteren van de \u2018customer journey\u2019 (60,2%) werden vaak genoemd als antwoord op de vraag wat een transformatie mogelijk moet maken.<\/p>\n

Richting process-led<\/strong><\/p>\n

Om een transformatie te laten slagen, is het volgens de opstellers van het onderzoeksrapport noodzakelijk dat organisaties value-driven<\/em>, process-led<\/em> en data-driven <\/em>worden. Nederlandse bedrijven blijken al concrete stappen in die richting te zetten. 46,6 procent gaf aan dat het de mogelijkheden van procesautomatisering en process mining-technieken verkent.<\/p>\n

Nog eens 30,5 procent gaf aan op tactisch niveau bezig te zijn met het stroomlijnen van processen, bijvoorbeeld voor order-to-cash en purchase-to-pay. 15,3 procent zegt aan de start van een transformatie te staan en maakt gebruik van eenvoudige tools voor het modelleren van processen.<\/p>\n

Tips voor een succesvolle transformatie<\/strong><\/p>\n

Volgens Leon Fakkel, bij 麻豆原创 Director of Business Development S\/4HANA Cloud – RISE with 麻豆原创, blijkt uit de cijfers dat in Nederland het \u2018procesdenken\u2019 op een hoog niveau is. Volgens Fakkel zijn veel bedrijven nu bezig met de vertaalslag van \u2018dit wil ik veranderen\u2019 naar het daadwerkelijk kunnen aanpassen. Hij geeft een aantal tips die kunnen bijdragen aan een succesvolle transformatie:<\/p>\n

  1. Moderniseer<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u201cTechnisch achterstallig onderhoud maakt het lastig om veranderingen in processen door te voeren in de backend- en frontendsystemen\u201d, waarschuwt Fakkel. Innovatie en transformatie vragen om moderne en up-to-date applicaties. Alleen daarmee is het mogelijk om te voldoen aan de verwachtingen van de gebruikers.<\/p>\n

    1. Communiceer<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Een transformatie moet bedrijfsbreed worden ondersteund. Communicatie is belangrijk voor het verkrijgen van die support. Bij een gebrekkige communicatie stuiten veranderingen bijvoorbeeld sneller op verzet. Signavio pleit er dan ook voor dat de toegevoegde waarde van een transformatie, de doelstellingen en de tijdslijnen duidelijk worden gecommuniceerd.<\/p>\n

      1. Cre\u00eber inzicht<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Ook op het gebied van Business Process Management geldt: meten is weten. \u201cJe kunt processen niet optimaliseren als je niet weet hoe processen zijn ge\u00efmplementeerd, maar vooral ook worden uitgevoerd\u201d, aldus Fakkel. “Met geen of weinig inzicht is het moeilijk om te bepalen waar verbeterpotentieel zit en waar het mogelijk is om processen aan te passen.\u201d<\/p>\n

        1. Zorg voor eigenaarschap<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Bij 47,5 procent van de ondervraagde bedrijven is businesstransformatie belegd bij de \u2018Office of the CEO\u2019. Maar vaak ligt de verantwoordelijkheid ook bij de CIO of een Centre of Excellence. Fakkel: \u201cHet is in ieder geval belangrijk dat de transformatie ergens is belegd. End-to-end processen zijn vaak afdelingsoverstijgend. Dan werkt het niet als we \u2018er allemaal een beetje van zijn\u2019. Dat zou het procesgestuurd werken bemoeilijken, omdat elke afdeling dan verantwoordelijk is voor een stukje proces.\u201d<\/p>\n

          1. Beperk de scope<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            \u201cWe gaan nog steeds vaak voor omvangrijke projecten waar we alle eisen en wensen in willen stoppen, maar die aanpak werkt al lang niet meer\u201d, stelt Fakkel. \u201cDaarvoor is de snelheid van verandering te groot. Als je een project na een jaar oplevert, is de wereld alweer veranderd. Don\u2019t boil the ocean<\/em>, kies voor kleinere stappen.\u201d<\/p>\n
