On March 5^th 2024, professionals from all over the Netherlands come together in the Provinciehuis Noord-Brabant for the GIS Event: Put �鶹ԭ�� on the map! During this event, various speakers will share inspirational, but also tangible stories on the integration between �鶹ԭ�� and GIS. One of those speakers is Stephan Albrecht, Chief Consultant with �鶹ԭ��.

Hi Stephan, can you briefly introduce yourself?

Of course. I’m Stephan Albrecht, Chief Consultant at �鶹ԭ�� Germany, with over 25 years of experience in the field. Since 2010, I’ve been driving the geographical enablement of �鶹ԭ��, aiming to enhance the usability of �鶹ԭ�� applications across various industries and process areas.

On March 5th, you are going to speak at the �鶹ԭ�� GIS event. Can you give us a quick preview?

Certainly. During my presentation, I’ll delve into the compelling reasons behind the geo-enablement of �鶹ԭ��, particularly its significance for certain industries and business processes. I’ll showcase real-world use cases of the �鶹ԭ�� Geo Framework in action through a live demo system and share examples from our customers. Additionally, I’ll touch upon the critical aspect of asset lifecycle definitions and how �鶹ԭ�� ensures data consistency between a geo-enabled �鶹ԭ�� ERP and an Esri Enterprise GIS.

What makes you so excited about the integration between �鶹ԭ�� and GIS?

The integration between �鶹ԭ�� and Esri GIS platforms is truly exhilarating due to the sheer power each platform brings to the table. By seamlessly incorporating the world of maps into �鶹ԭ��, we significantly enhance business processes within �鶹ԭ��, making them more efficient and user-friendly.

What is the added value of �鶹ԭ�� and GIS integration for organizations?

The added value is substantial. Firstly, organizations benefit from re-using data and services from both platforms, leading to fewer interfaces and smoother operations. Secondly, this integration results in improved business processes and enhanced data quality, ultimately driving better decision-making and operational efficiency.

Meet the Speaker – Erik van Os

Op 5 maart 2024 komen verschillende organisaties samen in het Provinciehuis Noord-Brabant voor het GIS Event: Zet �鶹ԭ�� op de kaart! Die dag nemen verschillende sprekers het woord en delen ze inspirerende, maar ook tastbare verhalen over de integratie tussen �鶹ԭ�� en GIS. Eén van die sprekers is Erik van Os, controller afdeling projecten en vastgoed bij Provincie Noord-Brabant.

Dag Erik, kan je jezelf kort even voorstellen?

Natuurlijk, ik ben Erik van Os en werk bij de Provincie Noord-Brabant op de afdeling Majeure Projecten en Ontwikkelbedrijf binnen de vastgoedsector. Mijn rol omvat het beheren van de administratie van deze sector en ik fungeer tevens als functioneel beheerder van de �鶹ԭ�� modules Real Estate en Geographical Enablement Framework (GEF).

Op 5 maart ga je spreken op het �鶹ԭ�� GIS-event. Kan je al een tipje van de sluier oplichten?

Absoluut! Tijdens het evenement zal ik ingaan op de recente ontwikkelingen bij de Provincie Noord-Brabant met betrekking tot de integratie van �鶹ԭ�� en GIS. We hebben enorm veel vooruitgang geboekt dankzij het nieuwe �鶹ԭ�� HANA-platform in combinatie met ArcGIS. Ik zal ook live demonstraties verzorgen om de impact van deze integratie te illustreren.

Wat maakt jou zo enthousiast over de integratie tussen �鶹ԭ�� en GIS?

��Wat mij echt enthousiast maakt, is de mogelijkheid om administratieve en geografische gegevens in realtime te combineren. Deze integratie stelt ons in staat om sneller en nauwkeuriger inzichten te verkrijgen zonder de noodzaak van datareplicatie. Het elimineren van handmatige processen heeft een aanzienlijke snelheids- en nauwkeurigheidswinst opgeleverd.

Wat is de meerwaarde van �鶹ԭ�� en GIS integratie voor Provincie Noord-Brabant?

De meerwaarde van deze integratie is enorm. Voor organisaties betekent het snellere en nauwkeurigere inzichten, waardoor besluitvorming wordt verbeterd en processen worden geoptimaliseerd. Voor de Provincie Noord-Brabant specifiek heeft het geleid tot een aanzienlijke versnelling in het verkrijgen van informatie en het elimineren van foutgevoelige processen, wat onze operationele efficiëntie enorm heeft verbeterd.
