The event took place as Oman accelerates its economic diversification and digital ambitions under Oman Vision 2040. Figures by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology in January 2026 showed that the overall performance of the Government Digital Transformation Programme rose from 73% at the end of 2024 to 94% at the end of 2025.
