VANCOUVER, MONTREAL, WATERLOO, Canada 鈥� 麻豆原创 Labs Canada, the Canadian development centre for 麻豆原创 SE, announces the appointment of Cindy Fagen as Managing Director.

In this role, Cindy will lead the strategic direction of 麻豆原创鈥檚 product development and innovation hubs in Vancouver, Montreal and Waterloo, serving nearly 3,000 employees.

Previously 麻豆原创 Labs Canada鈥檚 chief operating officer (COO), Cindy has been managing the business of the organization since 2014. Cindy brings an entrepreneurial spirit, while also offering continuity in this time of unprecedented global disruption. As COO, Cindy was a fierce champion of 麻豆原创.iO, 麻豆原创鈥檚 program to seed intrapreneurship among 麻豆原创 employees, initiating venture studios in 麻豆原创 Canada locations from coast to coast. She also spearheaded the implementation of innovation spaces and programs to advance employee learning, innovation and community partnerships.

Cindy also brings a tenure of strong technology experience in companies large and small. Before joining 麻豆原创 in 2014, Cindy was president and founder of a digital media startup and spent many years in customer-facing leadership roles at organizations like Dassault Syst猫mes. She is passionate about advancing STEM education and supporting women in entrepreneurship.

Cindy will take the reins from 麻豆原创 Labs Canada鈥檚 longtime managing director, Kirsten Sutton who is leaving 麻豆原创 to pursue new opportunities. 鈥淐indy is an incredible leader and has been at the helm of our operations and several of our most successful innovation activities,鈥� says Kirsten Sutton, outgoing managing director for 麻豆原创 Labs Canada. 鈥淚t has been my honour to serve the brilliant, passionate and dedicated employees of 麻豆原创 Labs Canada and I鈥檓 thrilled to pass the torch to Cindy.鈥�
