O <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/news-release\/nasa-clocks-july-2023-as-hottest-month-on-record-ever-since-1880\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Instituto Goddard de Estudos Espaciais (GISS) da NASA<\/u><\/a>\u00a0relatou que o m\u00eas de julho de 2023 foi o m\u00eas mais quente j\u00e1 registrado na temperatura global. A boa not\u00edcia \u00e9 que as novas tecnologias est\u00e3o tornando as investiga\u00e7\u00f5es sobre as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas mais f\u00e1ceis, visto que j\u00e1 \u00e9 poss\u00edvel reconhecer de forma mais certeira as fontes de emiss\u00e3o de carbono e impedir novos danos.<\/p>\n<p>Dois passos principais devem ser levados em conta para enfrentar a crise clim\u00e1tica global\u00a0\u2013 em ambos, as tecnologias emergentes podem contribuir, tornando cada processo mais r\u00e1pido e eficiente. O primeiro ponto \u00e9 identificar o problema,\u00a0o segundo \u00e9 impedir que ele continue acontecendo, evitando mais danos ao meio ambiente. Se conseguimos reconhecer que algo que estamos fazendo \u00e9 prejudicial, ent\u00e3o devemos mudar a maneira como se faz.<\/p>\n<p>Com as tecnologias emergentes, esse trabalho fica mais f\u00e1cil. Veja alguns exemplos:<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Identificando o problema:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Atrav\u00e9s de imagens de sat\u00e9lite, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel rastrear e analisar emiss\u00f5es de di\u00f3xido de carbono (CO<sub>2<\/sub>) de usinas de energia, f\u00e1bricas, queimadas controladas e at\u00e9 de navios de carga. Com esses dados, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel detectar atividades ilegais.<\/li>\n<li>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sap.com\/brazil\/products\/artificial-intelligence.html?url_id=text-blogentry-innovationBlogBR-2023_blog-original-post-sapcom\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>IA <\/u><\/a>ajuda a detectar emiss\u00f5es na cadeia de abastecimento global, permitindo que as empresas respons\u00e1veis por grande parte das emiss\u00f5es dos gases do efeito estufa encontrem maneiras de reduzir os danos que causam.<\/li>\n<li>O consumo de energia global gerada pela Internet soma cerca de 3,7% das emiss\u00f5es globais. Ao reconhecer este problema, podemos utilizar ferramentas que ajudam a estimar a pegada de carbono e emiss\u00f5es geradas pela vida online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Impedindo mais danos:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Um <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2020\/10\/201022123123.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>novo pol\u00edmero <\/u><\/a>que pode ser aplicado a t\u00eaxteis vai permitir que voc\u00ea carregue seu celular atrav\u00e9s de uma camiseta, funcionando como uma fonte de energia m\u00f3vel e sustent\u00e1vel.<\/li>\n<li>Transformando chuva em energia. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityu.edu.hk\/media\/press-release\/2020\/02\/06\/cityu-new-droplet-based-electricity-generator-drop-water-lights-100-small-led-bulbs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>Pesquisadores da Universidade Municipal de Hong Kong <\/u><\/a>desenvolveram um gerador que pode transformar at\u00e9 a chuva em energia a \u00a0140 volts por gota.<\/li>\n<li>Algas marinhas podem se transformar em biocombust\u00edveis.
