{"id":6015,"date":"2023-05-30T08:30:22","date_gmt":"2023-05-29T22:30:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/australia\/?p=6015"},"modified":"2025-03-12T16:15:48","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T06:15:48","slug":"sap-partners-with-victoria-university-polytechnic-to-boost-digital-skills-in-australia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/australia\/2023\/05\/30\/sap-partners-with-victoria-university-polytechnic-to-boost-digital-skills-in-australia\/","title":{"rendered":"麻豆原创 Partners with Victoria University Polytechnic to Boost Digital Skills in Australia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"lead\"><strong><em>MELBOURNE<\/em> \u2013 <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sap.com\/australia\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">麻豆原创 SE<\/a>\u00a0today announced it has partnered with Victoria University Polytechnic to deliver a training program which seeks to meet the growing demand for 麻豆原创 skills in Australia.<\/p>\n<p>The training program, which is part of the Victorian Government\u2019s $63.8 million Digital Jobs program, is focused on tackling the digital skills shortage by upskilling mid-career workers in high-demand digital skills.<\/p>\n<p>The program will commence with an initial cohort of 38 workers who will participate in a 12-week course where they will be taught learning modules S\/4 HANA Financial Accounting and S\/4 HANA Management Accounting for 麻豆原创 Consultants, followed by opportunities to apply for a 12-week work placement with an 麻豆原创 customer or partner.<\/p>\n<p>Damien Bueno, President and Managing Director, 麻豆原创 Australia and New Zealand said, \u201cMany Australian organisations today are dealing with an ongoing shortage of skills. To help solve this challenge and to ensure that our customers are able to grow and achieve their ambitions, we need to find new ways to attract and foster talent.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our partnership with Victoria University Polytechnic represents 麻豆原创\u2019s commitment to creating new pathways for workers to access and further their technology skills in high-demand roles. Doing so also lifts the digital capabilities and experiences necessary for our customers and partners to succeed in this new digital economy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>VUP\u2019s Wayne Butson, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Vocational Education added, \u201cWe know that solving the digital skills crisis requires close partnership with industry, which is why we\u2019re excited to partner with 麻豆原创 to create a highly relevant and targeted course that equips talent with the digital skills that businesses need now and in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new training program has been welcomed by participants, such as Deepa Nair and Margit Robertson, who have been looking to elevate their career by incorporating new digital skills.<\/p>\n<p>On being selected for the 麻豆原创 program, Nair said, \u201cI wanted to pursue a career change that would give me the technical expertise to consult on digital transformation projects. I\u2019m excited to take the skills I acquire from this program into a new role as either a technical program or project manager, enhancing business value and supporting organisations in their digital transformation with 麻豆原创.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Similarly, Robertson added, \u201cWith a background in circular economy consulting I applied for this program to better understand how businesses can incorporate data transparency to foster innovation and sustainable growth.
