{"id":5211,"date":"2021-12-01T11:03:17","date_gmt":"2021-12-01T01:03:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/australia\/?p=5211"},"modified":"2023-08-17T05:05:39","modified_gmt":"2023-08-16T19:05:39","slug":"the-creative-crucible-of-one-packathon-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/australia\/2021\/12\/01\/the-creative-crucible-of-one-packathon-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"The Creative Crucible of One Packathon 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 9<sup>th<\/sup>, 麻豆原创 along with supporting partners Dell and RedHat concluded the 2021 edition of <strong>One Packathon<\/strong>, a new virtual event engaging our vibrant APJ partner community, that saw a participation of over <strong>110 consultants<\/strong> from <strong>11 major partners.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The aim of One Packathon was to design and develop ready-for-market differentiated industry solutions of high business value, leveraging the newest <strong>Business Technology Platform portfolio (BTP)<\/strong> predominantly focusing on 麻豆原创 Data Warehouse Cloud, 麻豆原创 Data Intelligence and 麻豆原创 Analytics Cloud. At this time of widespread disruption, we considered it vital to give developers and consultants the opportunity to collaborate and evolve creatively in a supportive, professional environment, and come away with practical, data-driven solutions to industry challenges.<\/p>\n<p>The event ran from August 5<sup>th<\/sup>, with teams given the choice between two available product streams, Data &amp; Analytics and Data Orchestration &amp; Intelligence. They also had the option to create a solution which would encompass both product areas end-to-end. Participants were given access to a team of <strong>30+ 麻豆原创, Dell and RedHat mentors<\/strong>, who provided professional advice and practical assistance with each solution development process. Each team then gave a final presentation and demonstration of their products at the One Packathon event, presided over by a jury of 麻豆原创 experts.<\/p>\n<p>The creative crucible of One Packathon yielded amazing results, with <strong>19 packaged solutions<\/strong> focused on value-creation and customer enablement delivered for development and eventual introduction into the market. Some examples of partner-packaged use cases are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Retail Shop-In-Shop Partner Reconciliation<\/li>\n<li>Logistics Control Tower<\/li>\n<li>Working Capital Optimizer<\/li>\n<li>Dealer 360<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance Expense Budgeting &amp; Forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Predictive Asset Management in Mining<\/li>\n<li>Payment Times Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance &amp; Reliability Intelligence; and<\/li>\n<li>Risk &amp; Control Analytics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Participants in the event included Accenture, Deloitte, EY, PwC, DXC Technology, NTT Data, Bluetree Solutions, Perfekt, VASPP Technologies, Aumento Technologies and Fair Consulting Group. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with our partners praising the organisers and already excited for the 2022 Packathon edition.<\/p>\n<p>We asked some of our partners to share their experiences of the event below:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOn behalf of all the members of the PwC team, I would like to thank the 麻豆原创 One Packathon team for bringing this great competition to our region.
