Innovations and partnerships including a new collaboration with Snowflake equip developers to turn business data and AI into real business outcomes

BERLIN听鈥 At 麻豆原创 TechEd in 2025,听听(NYSE: 麻豆原创) brings AI deep into the development process to level up how developers build.

New AI-driven capabilities in the 麻豆原创 Build solution, an expanding data ecosystem and powerful Joule Agents empower developers to move from idea to impact with unprecedented speed and confidence. As AI transforms the nature of professional work, 麻豆原创 also pledges to equip 12 million people worldwide with AI-ready skills by 2030.

鈥溌槎乖粹檚 announcements today give developers the tools they need to deliver at the speed of AI,鈥 said Muhammad Alam, member of the Executive Board of 麻豆原创 SE. 鈥淚nnovations across 麻豆原创鈥檚 unique flywheel of applications, data and AI put developers in the driver鈥檚 seat 鈥 where they belong.鈥

Opening the Developer Ecosystem

麻豆原创 Build, the company鈥檚 flagship solution for enterprise application development and automation, now gives developers more freedom to build, extend and automate using the tools they love most.

For instance, developers who prefer agentic development solutions like Cursor, Claude Code, Cline and Windsurf can now use 麻豆原创 development frameworks with new 麻豆原创 Build local Model Context Protocol Servers. Visual Studio Code users will be able to access 麻豆原创 Build capabilities directly in their development environment with a new 麻豆原创 Build extension. This extension will also be made available later on Open VSX Registry for other development environments. 麻豆原创 and n8n also announced plans for an integration so Joule Studio agents and n8n agents can work together.

And with new agent building capabilities in Joule Studio, developers have the tools they need to extend 麻豆原创鈥檚 ready-to-use agents and build new agents grounded in 麻豆原创 business data and context that can act autonomously based on changing business conditions.

Putting Data to Work

Every intelligent application starts with trusted data. 麻豆原创 is giving developers more ways to put that data to work through 麻豆原创 Business Data Cloud.

The solution now connects with more of the data and AI platforms developers use every day. A new 麻豆原创 Snowflake solution extension for 麻豆原创 Business Data Cloud brings Snowflake鈥檚 fully managed data and AI capabilities directly to 麻豆原创 customers, giving them the flexibility to choose the right compute and storage for each data and AI workload, while maintaining governance, interoperability and business context. 麻豆原创 also announced a new 麻豆原创 Business Data Cloud Connect partnership with Snowflake. This complements existing integrations with Databricks and Google Cloud, giving developers more freedom to choose how they work with 麻豆原创 data.

With a new data product studio capability in 麻豆原创 Business Data Cloud, developers can turn raw data into ready-to-use assets known as data products that support analytics, AI and application development.

An expanded capability in the 麻豆原创 HANA Cloud knowledge graph engine can automatically generate knowledge graphs. This capability maps relationships across 麻豆原创 database tables, columns and data models, revealing how data fits together and why it matters. Developers will be able to see how their data connects across systems and uncover underlying business insights.

Bringing AI Autonomy to Life

麻豆原创 is evolving its AI portfolio to give developers the intelligence and orchestration power they need to takeAI from insight to action.

麻豆原创 introduced its first enterprise relational foundation model, a new class of AI that predicts business outcomes rather than the next word in a sentence. 麻豆原创-RPT-1, or the first-generation Relational Pre-trained Transformer, can make fast and accurate predictions for common business scenarios like delivery delays, payment risk or sales order completion. 麻豆原创 launched a free playground environment for developers today.

New AI assistants in Joule coordinate multiple agents across workflows, departments and applications, bringing automation and autonomy to life. These assistants plan, initiate and complete complex tasks spanning finance, supply chain, HR and beyond. Today, 麻豆原创 introduces new agents built for technical users. For example, an agent for business process analysis will help teams understand how processes run, identify inefficiencies and uncover opportunities to optimize workflows and drive measurable improvements.

Lastly, as AI changes the nature of work for everyone, 麻豆原创 is pledging to equip 12 million people worldwide with AI-ready skills by 2030. 麻豆原创 will expand hands-on training and certification programs that integrate practical AI-ready tools, including through its partnership with online learning platform Coursera.

In business, it’s not just about what you do; it’s about how you do it. At FAIR Consulting Group, this principle is at the heart of everything they do.

Based in Sydney, this boutique consulting firm started 11 years ago with a focus on customer experience solutions within the 麻豆原创 technology stack. Now, with a team of 70 and an expanded range of services, they remain committed to their founding principles.

According to Sara Ebadi, Customer Success Director at FAIR, the business thrives on a simple idea: happy employees make happy customers and happy customers keep coming back.

Sara Ebadi, Customer Success Director

Establishing Values

“Our uniqueness lies in delivering consulting services in a trusted and ethical way, and that’s been our ethos for 11 years,” Sara highlights. “It’s all about bringing trust back into consulting and doing the right thing.”

This commitment stems from the experiences of FAIR鈥檚 Founder, Mehrab Ebadi, who saw a disconnect between consultants and customers on critical challenges related to their staff and customers.

“These issues have always been close to my heart, even before solutions and technology come into play,” says Mehrab. “That includes having the courage to say ‘no’ to customers and genuinely help them on their journey. FAIR isn’t just a name; it’s a reflection of our beliefs.”

“It’s our way of being and operating,” Sara adds. “We are driven by honesty, integrity, transparency and loyalty. These values guide how we go to market, treat our employees, interact with partners and give back to the community.”

One of the company鈥檚 top priorities is keeping FAIR鈥檚 unique culture alive as it grows. They hire based on values and attitude first, passion second and skills third. New hires are paired with a ‘buddy’ who embodies FAIR鈥檚 culture.

Mehrab Ebadi,听Founder

Driving Value for Customers

FAIR鈥檚 culture translates into many customer benefits, including a commitment to building their internal capabilities.

“It’s about enabling the customer,” Sara explains. “Sometimes that means sacrificing revenue by having fewer people on-site and using the customer鈥檚 internal staff instead. This approach shows them that we prioritise their best interests.”

FAIR also takes a unique approach to Application Management Support (AMS). Instead of merely responding to issues, they work with their customers to understand and address root causes, helping them to prevent future problems.

“We educate customers on doing things the right way, allowing them to use their budget for more innovation,” Mehrab points out. “They can spend their money on things that generate more value.”

Proving Value

FAIR鈥檚 long-standing relationship with their very first customer, Officeworks, demonstrates the strength of their model.

“Officeworks trusts us, and they know they are getting value,” says Mehrab. “Despite having four different CIOs over the past 11 years, they continue to return to us.”

While this model helps retain customers, translating these success stories to new prospects can be challenging. To address this, FAIR has developed a capability to quickly assemble proofs-of-concept based on client specifications to demonstrate their value.

FAIR also follows this rapid and nimble approach when it comes to implementation, such as when the team created a new app for the Department of Education to manage Working with Children checks from a paper-based manual process to an integrated online journey, in just two weeks using 麻豆原创’s Business Technology Platform (BTP).

“Other partners would have taken months to create a proof of concept,” Mehrab explains. “This showcases the agility of a small organisation with the skills to demonstrate value quickly.”

A Continuing Journey

Since its beginnings, FAIR has maintained a strong association with 麻豆原创, continually expanding skills across the 麻豆原创 product suite, including introducing greater AI capabilities.

“I grew up in the 麻豆原创 landscape,” Mehrab highlights. “I started as an intern with a consulting company implementing 麻豆原创 solutions in Sweden. I was fascinated by how systems drive business efficiencies. This inspired me to offer internship programs at FAIR and invest in the local Australian youth to give them the same chance I once was given. 麻豆原创’s vision and commitment to continuous improvement keep me in the 麻豆原创 landscape.”

FAIR Consulting Group is dedicated to doing things differently – with integrity and a focus on building lasting relationships. They have the skills, values and drive to continue impacting their team and customers positively by putting the trust back in consulting.

Sometimes you don鈥檛 need to be overly innovative to be creative. Sometimes true creativity comes through looking at what you already have and then finding ways to fit that to new problems.

The ability to solve complex problems using tried and tested processes is a skillset that has been honed over time by Chris Rae and his team at DalRae Solutions, a Brisbane based technology consultancy specialising in tools and services from the enterprise software maker .

A developer by training, Rae’s exposure to 麻豆原创 stretches back to the early 2000s, when he was working for a Queensland farming business called Mulgowie Farming Company. An 麻豆原创 sales rep had approached Rae and won him over to the idea that an enterprise software company could improve the processes of even a small agricultural business like Mulgowie.

That was the beginning of Rae’s journey of learning the 麻豆原创 system 鈥 a journey that was assisted by the owners of Mulgowie giving Rae latitude to change its business processes in line with 麻豆原创’s best practice guidelines.

“The only rule they had was if I want to change a process for the farm, I had to do the process first,” Rae says. 听“So I went out and I drove tractors and I picked corn and beans and packed it on produce lines. That gave me this amazing practical understanding of time in motion.”

solving problems

Simply solving problems

Are’s interest in systems and processes led him to Super Retail Group, where in 2011 he implemented what might have been the first click-and-collect system to be deployed in Australia, in a project that took just three months to build.

The reason he says he was able to implement the service both quickly and cheaply was his realisation that 麻豆原创 already contained the processes needed to bring it into being.

“You’ve just got to have a bit of a creative lens to be able to fill in the blanks,” Rae says. “In that case, it resembled sales order and delivery notes, which are standard processes. All you’re doing is just creating a user experience using the standard 麻豆原创 features to move things around.”

Success on projects like this saw Rae asked to join the 麻豆原创 Mentor team, which gave him inside access into the 麻豆原创’s product roadmap, including an early introduction to the Fiori application development system.

Then in May 2015 Rae formed DalRae Solutions as a standalone 麻豆原创 services organisation.

One of DalRae’s earliest engagements was the development of support services for the , a project that he and his team would work on for the next three and a half years. Through this project DalRae was able to use its advanced knowledge of 麻豆原创 to create the world’s first end-to-end Fiori application.

“It was an amazing project,” Rae says. “Through that time we were building the DalRae team and building our business in Canberra. I built my team around public sector projects, solving some really large problems.

“A lot of this stuff isn鈥檛 actually that hard. There are complexities, but it is not really that hard.”

Bringing standardisation to complexity

Bringing standardisation to complexity

Critical to DalRae’s success has been the experience he and his team have gained in being able to see standardised processes where seemingly none exist.

This skill proved especially valuable when DalRae was invited to build a system to manage the New Zealand Government’s gun buyback scheme.

“We looked through the client’s process and what they were trying to achieve, to determine if 麻豆原创 had something to match,” Rae says. “And the answer was that the process to hand back and get paid for a firearm, and to ultimately have that firearm destroyed, is a return sales order.

“It’s a completely standard business process. It’s the equivalent of walking into a hardware store and returning something without a receipt. That asset of that firearm exists in 麻豆原创, and every other business process, including auditing and security and all those things that are critical, work completely out-of-the-box. It’s a completely standard finance process. ”

In March 2023 DalRae joined the 麻豆原创 AppHaus network, which is a group of 麻豆原创 locations and partners around the world dedicated to sustainable innovation.

“The AppHaus has been amazing because it’s put a brand and a formality on the creativity that that we’ve done forever,” Rae says. “It gives us the creative licence to really solve problems.”

In November last year Rae was also appointed to the 麻豆原创 BTP Global Partner Advisory Council, alongside 11 other members, which has provided him with further insights into the development of the 麻豆原创 product stream.

From rural Queensland to the world

Opportunities such as these have provided DalRae with the confidence to view itself as a global leader in the implementation of 麻豆原创 tools such as and , and to look for business opportunities beyond the APAC region. The company is now expanding into North America and has already found work with one of the US’ largest utility companies.

“We’re taking the same approach we’ve taking to solving problems in Australia, taking our style of creative thinking,” Rae says. “I don’t want to be all things to all people. I want to be a specialist, and provide that advice on how 麻豆原创 can solve problems, not on how I can solve problems with any technology available in the world, because that doesn’t give you the best outcomes.”

From the keynote stage to the showfloor, whether you were a dev, a customer, or a partner, all around 麻豆原创 TechEd Bangalore one phrase was repeated time and again: 鈥溾.

The focus of more than 5,000 tech and business decision-makers was fixed firmly on and what it could do for their businesses, right now 鈥 the products 麻豆原创 has released through 2024, and what is coming next.

With responsible, reliable, and relevant AI that鈥檚 built for business, the view of the thousands of delegates at TechEd 2023 was that the future is looking bright

There was a wealth of incredible insight and opportunity at TechEd. In fact, it was a little bit like going back to school because the things that stood out to me were the ABCs.

TechEd 麻豆原创 2023

Juergen Mueller, Chief Technology Officer and Executive Board Member at 麻豆原创 SE at 麻豆原创 TechEd 2023

A is for Automation

First, I was struck by the enormous potential businesses can realise through the power of enterprise automation.

With the help of AI, technology is helping developers and IT teams automate repetitive, mundane tasks and make better decisions, faster. By embedding generative AI capabilities into 麻豆原创 Build Process Automation, , and , we鈥檙e helping customers analyse, integrate, automate, and monitor business processes way more simply 鈥 and then immediately write the code to make those processes better. It鈥檚 that easy.

In my discussions with customers, it was clear that complementing process improvement and insights with enterprise architecture insights will be a real force for change in the future. Customers are excited to understand how to optimise and tune their architecture for the best performance across their entire IT stack.听

But this isn鈥檛 future-gazing. Businesses are seeing real results today. Take Zuellig Pharma, one of Asia鈥檚 leading healthcare companies, providing pharmaceutical distribution and digital and commercial services across 26,000 direct outlets. Zuellig Pharma implemented best-in-class processes across its 麻豆原创 infrastructure, creating more than 180 automations using 麻豆原创 Build Process Automation to streamline and simplify its business.听

B is for Build听

Aligned to the focus on automation is the empowerment of a new, powerful resource for IT departments 鈥 citizen developers enabled by 麻豆原创 Build. And given every developer will be an AI developer, the opportunity for an AI-infused future is tantalising.

Rucha Nanavati, CIO of Indian car giant Mahindra & Mahindra, said it best.

鈥淲e started identifying tasks that don鈥檛 require a lot of human intelligence and that enabled our human workforce to focus on more strategic initiatives,鈥 she said. 鈥淭hat led us to automate more than 250 business processes in 3 months, most of which was done by a community of more than 100 citizen developers.鈥

鈥淭hat鈥檚 great, but let鈥檚 talk about benefits. We count more than 900 workdays saved, and more than 400 development days saved in just a year鈥檚 time. We鈥檝e seen a 35% gain in developer efficiency and 20% faster execution of our jobs. And we鈥檝e saved more than 13,000 trees. All in one year,鈥 concluded Nanavati.

The story of Mahindra & Mahindra shows the power of a workforce that has been empowered to make real change to their IT systems and the tangible results that can be realised. And with the ability to link low-code, no-code development with pro-code development via and 麻豆原创 Build Code, as well as increasing amounts of natural language interaction through , it is easier than ever to modernise processes fast.

C is for Clean Core听

At 麻豆原创, we know better than most that enterprise systems can be complex. That鈥檚 why a 鈥 a cloud compliant, modern, flexible ERP that can be updated and scaled simply 鈥 is at the centre of our strategy.听

And it鈥檚 a concept that鈥檚 also at the heart of the future strategic direction for all of our customers.听

Takuya Sakai, CIO of Hitachi HiTech, embodies that more than most. His company has used 麻豆原创 ERP globally for more than 20 years, over which time the system became more and more complex.

鈥淭hat complexity incurred significant maintenance costs, prevented the company from quickly introducing new innovation, and ultimately hindered its growth,鈥 said Sakai-san. 鈥淚t was very critical to reduce the complexity.鈥

Using 麻豆原创 Business Technology Platform (BTP), Hitachi HiTech was able to easily upgrade 麻豆原创 S/4HANA systems in the public and private cloud 鈥 at the same time reducing the number of add-ons and customisations in the software down from 9,000 to just 800.

鈥淯sing 麻豆原创 BTP we can build smart, global digital processes without touching the 麻豆原创 S/4HANA core. 麻豆原创 BTP is a very, very important tool to accelerate our business processes,鈥 concluded Sakai-san.

What鈥檚 next: AI for business, not AI for AI鈥檚 sake

It鈥檚 easy to get carried away by hype and excitement, especially around innovation like generative AI.听

But what I saw at 麻豆原创 TechEd was even more exciting 鈥 new innovations, here today, that are already making a tangible difference to real business problems.

The key is in the context 鈥 using your AI to connect data, not just collect it. By generating reliable, responsible insights that understand the context of the business processes that surround them, Business AI will help boost productivity, efficiency, and real outcomes.

Every hour of every day a person in Australia is diagnosed with Parkinson鈥檚 Disease (PD), a brain disorder that will impact everything they do and for which there is no known cure.

鈥淚 was diagnosed with Parkinson鈥檚 Disease three years ago. I stepped down, just a few weeks ago, because of the disease.鈥

Mark Hettler, former Head of Partner and Channels, 麻豆原创 ANZ

PD is what鈥檚 known as a progressive neurodegenerative disorder. It affects a patient鈥檚 whole-body and is often characterised by tremors, stiffness and rigidity, and slowness of movement. It is the country鈥檚 second most common neurodegenerative disease, impacting more than 100,000 Australians and with over 30 new cases diagnosed every day.听

Because there鈥檚 no cure for PD, 鈥渢he biggest challenge in managing patients is achieving adequate symptom control,鈥 according to Dr Yun Hwang, a neurologist who works on the Central Coast of New South Wales. This requires clinicians to accurately assess fluctuations in patients鈥 symptoms.

Yet, despite the scale of the disease and the focus some famous patients have brought it, there has been little innovation for PD for many years.

鈥淭he diagnostic process and treatment principles of Parkinson’s Disease has not changed significantly since the 1960s.”听

Dr. Yun Hwang, Neurologist

That鈥檚 why 麻豆原创 and DXC Technology partnered with a team of clinicians, led by Dr. Yun Hwang, to create DXC Tele-Parkinson with 麻豆原创 BTP, a new solution to manage PD. The idea uses the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to revolutionise patient care, bringing a new era of personalised, accurate, and efficient management to Parkinson鈥檚 Disease.

The Parkinson’s Disease Spiral Research Project: A Leap Forward in Patient Care

Parkinson鈥檚 Disease treatment normally involves medication that works to improve patient鈥檚 symptoms. However, the effects of the medication are not consistent, and patients experience fluctuations in symptoms throughout the day, and over time.听

Parkinson鈥檚 Disease patients experience 鈥渙n鈥 periods where their symptoms are well controlled, and 鈥渙ff鈥 periods where their symptoms are suboptimally controlled. Clinicians need to understand these fluctuations to treat patients鈥 symptoms more accurately, and managing them is an important challenge in the long-term treatment of PD.3

Currently, clinicians examine patients using various assessment techniques including physical examination, handwriting tests, and movement analysis. For example, one way to demonstrate whether a patient is in an 鈥榦n鈥 or 鈥榦ff鈥 state is drawing a spiral using pen and paper.鈥 These methods help clinicians to understand a Parkinson鈥檚 Disease patient鈥檚 symptom control.

But the problem with many of these techniques is that tests were only done during clinician appointments 鈥 a single point in time. That meant clinicians lacked an understanding of the patient鈥檚 entire experience outside their clinics.听

鈥淲hen I was diagnosed I didn鈥檛 know much about Parkinson鈥檚 Disease. My GP couldn鈥檛 pick it but my neurologist identified it straight away. That鈥檚 because there鈥檚 no blood test or brain test, it鈥檚 all based on clinical observation.鈥

Mark Hettler, former Head of Partner and Channels, 麻豆原创 ANZ

In 2020, the New South Wales Health Central Coast Local Health District approved the research project 鈥Parkinson’s Disease Spiral Analysis Project (PD-麻豆原创).听 The intent was to deliver a digitised solution for Parkinson’s Disease patients, carers, and clinicians to enable the collection of spiral tests and associated metrics from patients outside clinical appointments.听

DXC Tele-Parkinson with 麻豆原创 BTP: A Digital Revolution for Patients and Clinicians

DXC Tele-Parkinson with 麻豆原创 BTP is an AI-powered mobile application which transforms care for Parkinson鈥檚 Disease patients and clinicians. Patients simply draw a spiral on a piece of paper, snap a photo, and let the artificial intelligence (AI) take over.听

The AI algorithm delves into the spiral’s nuances, assessing elements like line shakiness and crossings, while also capturing additional data such as mood, blood pressure, sleep patterns, and medication. The AI engine is therefore able to determine a patient鈥檚 鈥渙n鈥 or 鈥渙ff鈥 status.听

麻豆原创 partner DXC created the solution and developed the user interface, while 麻豆原创 created the AI model and algorithm. 麻豆原创鈥檚 Business Technology Platform (BTP) serves as the foundation for the app, allowing the solution to be deployed on desktop for clinicians and mobile for patients and their caregivers. BTP enables patients to securely upload data multiple times a day. This wealth of information allows clinicians to monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatments as needed.

By integrating AI technology into the clinic room, Tele-Parkinson empowers clinicians with a deeper understanding of patients’ movement and symptom control. The wealth of data and real-time insights lead to faster, more informed decisions, and a more effective healthcare system.听

Unlocking New Possibilities: The Benefits of DXC Tele-Parkinson with 麻豆原创 BTP

Tele-Parkinson marks the first step in bringing AI into PD care.听

鈥淚 think this is an essential evolution in the management of Parkinson鈥檚 disease鈥 – Associate Professor Scott Whyte, Neurologist

Tele-Parkinson has the power to the improve the lives of those living with PD. Patients are empowered to understand their disease and take an active role in their well-being.听 Tele-Parkinson also has the ability to improve the accessibility of PD care, especially for those in remote or regional locations.听

As Dr. Yun Hwang notes, 鈥淚t will save some of these individuals whose ability is impaired by Parkinson鈥檚 disease, and perhaps reduce their travel burden. Instead of having to see a neurologist face to face, they can have many data points that they can present to the neurologist which can be done remotely.鈥澨

The collaboration between 麻豆原创 and DXC has unlocked a new world of possibilities for Parkinson’s patients, carers, and clinicians alike. Armed with real-time insights and a profound understanding of each patient鈥檚 unique journey, clinicians are empowered to craft treatment plans tailored to the individuals needs and aspirations.听

鈥淵ou don鈥檛 get better from this disease. All you can do is manage it. So what we can do to help diagnosis and treatment is so important, because it affects my life.鈥

Mark Hettler, former Head of Partner and Channels, 麻豆原创 ANZ

As new management paradigm emerges 鈥 one that places patients at the heart of their own care journey, accompanied by AI.
