Sydney, Australia – 19 October – 麻豆原创 Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) today announced the launch of its Supply Chain Centre of Excellence (CoE), a new regional capability designed to help asset-intensive organisations modernise their supply chain and asset management operations using cloud, AI, data and automation.

A recent IDC White Paper showed that 75% of survey respondents cited legacy drag as a key impediment to responding more effectively to disruption.* The CoE helps customers accelerate their transformation from legacy systems to scalable cloud platforms, and use AI, data and automation, to improve supply chain performance, strengthen asset management, and deliver measurable returns faster.

The study further stated that 58% of COO鈥檚 say a focus on cost-efficiency at the expense of resilience is a key challenge to be faced over the next 12 months. *

鈥淥rganisations across Australia and New Zealand are facing an unprecedented level of global disruption from the constraints on major trading routes, to increasing pressure on critical resource,鈥 said Angela Colantuono, President and Managing Director, 麻豆原创 ANZ. “Resilience is a competitive advantage. This Centre of Excellence aims to give customers and partners a practical way to connect systems, break down silos and use real-time data and intelligence to anticipate disruption and respond faster.鈥

The CoE draws on 麻豆原创鈥檚 autonomous enterprise and AI innovations, including more than 70 AI agents across planning, manufacturing and logistics, to help organisations detect disruptions earlier, model scenarios faster and accelerate decisions from days to minutes. 麻豆原创鈥檚 AI-powered Supply Chain Orchestration also enables dynamic rerouting and continuous simulation of transportation plans as conditions change.

The capabilities of the CoE are intended to support organisations across the full end to end supply chain activities, including helping them to:

  • Adopt and leverage new technologies and digital operations
  • Access real-time data and analytics for more informed decision-making
  • Move from reactive fixes to planned听and听predictive interventions,听with the aim of听improving first-time fix rates through stronger asset health visibility, and digital work execution

  • Optimise procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier integration, logistics and routing听
  • Optimise working capital and operating costs听

The Centre is now fully operational across Australia and New Zealand as part of 麻豆原创鈥檚 global network of industry and functional experts.

Scaling transformation through partners

Previously听slow, manual, and at times, associated with听inconsistent decision making 鈥撎齮oday,听new digital tools听deliver听an intuitive, self-service experience through a听centralised听claims portal,听allowing听multi-delivery claims to be created in under 30 seconds, and more than 1,000 deliveries can be processed in under two minutes.听听

鈥淏y combining intelligent automation with human expertise, we鈥檝e built a platform that reinforces our brand promise and sets a new industry standard for service,鈥 said Rahul Badge, Head of In-Market Supply Chain at Zespri.听鈥淎s a result,听we have been able to听meet our听customers鈥櫶齨eed听for a simpler, faster, and more transparent听experience, and听give听our assessors the tools to reduce manual input and share expert insights across the business.听We now see each claim as a chance to show our commitment to service, quality and openness.鈥听

Landmark achievement caps 14 years of industry collaboration, with latest Redkite Regatta raising $100,000 through racing, sponsorship and extraordinary employee dedication.

AUSTRALIA, Sydney 鈥 November 11, 2025 鈥 The 麻豆原创 ANZ partner network today announced that it has reached its $1 million fundraising target for Redkite, an Australian charity dedicated to supporting families facing the challenges of childhood cancer. The achievement comes as a result of $100,000 being raised at this year鈥檚 14th Redkite Regatta 鈥 an annual event that brings together 麻豆原创 executives, partners and customers for a day of friendly competition and connection.

Hosted by the picturesque Middle Harbour Yacht Club (MHYC), the regatta is in part made possible by the generosity of its members making their boats and skippers available to support the fundraising efforts. Since it kicked-off in 2011, the annual event has set itself a $1 million target, powered through the participation and sponsorship of organisations including Atturra (Platinum Sponsor), Accenture, CBS Consulting, Deloitte, DXC Technology, Fair Consulting Group, HR Crowd, PwC, SNP Group, Wipro and Zalaris. Over the years it has also benefited from additional fundraising efforts including raffles 鈥 and this year, Ana Travers, Regional Head of Alliance 鈥 麻豆原创 Signavio APJ, contributed $7,500 by shaving her head.

Ashley McGibbon, Chief Partner Officer, 麻豆原创 ANZ, said 鈥淓vents like the Redkite Regatta do more than bring our industry together for a great day on the water 鈥 they create real, measurable impact for families facing childhood cancer. They also showcase the teamwork, shared purpose and community spirit that define our partner network and commitment to what One麻豆原创 is all about: people, relationships, outcomes and the difference we make together. Fundraising events like this strengthen the bonds between our teams and partners and remind us that the same collaboration driving customer success can also drive meaningful change in our communities. A huge thank you to MHYC and all sponsors for making the Regatta such a success.鈥

鈥淭hrough the Redkite Regatta, both this year and over the past 14 years, 麻豆原创 and their partners have demonstrated their enduring commitment to helping families facing childhood cancer across Australia. Their generosity helps parents stay by their child鈥檚 side in hospital by easing the financial pressures of a cancer diagnosis and funding the emotional and practical care families need to cope with the trauma that childhood cancer brings. We鈥檙e so grateful to 麻豆原创 and its partners for their unwavering passion, ambition and generosity,鈥 said Redkite CEO, Monique Keighery.

This year鈥檚 winners included Perisoft, who claimed the Division 1 title, while EPI-USE took the Division 2 win across races which catered to every appetite from comfortable cruising to high-speed racing.

鈥淲e are proud to have taken out Division 1 at this year鈥檚 Redkite Regatta and even prouder to have done so while supporting such an important cause. Events like this remind us of the importance of community spirit, and we are honoured to support Redkite and its work,鈥 said Mahesh Viswanathan, Managing Director, Perisoft.

“Joining 麻豆原创 for the Regatta in support of the Redkite Foundation was an incredible experience. It was a perfect day on the water, filled with great company and a shared sense of purpose. Sailing together was a powerful reminder of the importance of teamwork and trust, and it was inspiring to see so many people unite behind such a meaningful cause,” said Ian Fox, Managing Director, EPI-USE ANZ.

73% of companies expect positive business AI returns within three years, but strategic adoption gaps risk leaving millions on the table听

AUSTRALIA, Sydney 鈥 10 October 2025 鈥 Australian organisations are already achieving a 15% return on their business AI investments, yielding an average return on investment this year of US$3.2 million on an average US$19.1million spend, according to a new study by 麻豆原创 SE (NYSE: 麻豆原创). The global research, 鈥The 麻豆原创 Value of AI Report,鈥 undertaken by Oxford Economics, also found ROI is expected to nearly double to 29% within two years, translating to an average return of US$8.2 million per organisation.听

Angela Colantuono, President and Managing Director, 麻豆原创 Australia and New Zealand said, 鈥淎I isn鈥檛 what鈥檚 next, it鈥檚 here now and it鈥檚 already delivering results. But doing AI well takes more than hype. Businesses investing strategically in people, data and AI are already unlocking measurable ROI. With nearly three quarters of organisations expecting returns within three years, the message is clear: this is only the beginning. AI will get smarter, faster and more transformative from here.鈥听

AI-First Business Expectations听

The report shows that AI is already supporting a quarter of business tasks, a proportion expected to reach 41% within two years. Nearly two thirds (62%) are finding AI effective in helping their business overcome key organisational challenges. Benefits include seeing significant improvement in driving insights and decision-making, engaging with customers and prospects and improving time to value.听听

The majority of Australian respondents expect AI to become central to business processes, decision-making and customer offerings by 2028, a year ahead of their global peers. Only 3% of businesses say AI will never become a core part of how they operate.听

“We’re witnessing the biggest business transformation since the internet,” added Colantuono. “The question isn’t whether AI will transform your business, it’s whether you’ll lead that transformation or be transformed by your competitors.”听

The US$19 Million Question: Are Australian Businesses Thinking Too Small?听

Despite these positive signs, the study also reveals Australian business AI spend being significantly outpaced by global peers. Compared to the average US$19.1 million Australian spend, Chinese organisations lead the way with an average US$42 million spend, with US$37 million as the average US spend.听听

鈥淭his isn鈥檛 just about technology, it鈥檚 about competitive survival. Those that don鈥檛 crack the AI code now risk being left behind for good. In addition to boosting revenue, AI is about building smarter operations and empowering people to focus on the work that matters,鈥 continued Colantuono.听

The Game-Changer: AI Agents听听

The next frontier, agentic AI, could further revolutionise business operations entirely. A key finding of the report was that these intelligent, autonomous systems that can plan, act and collaborate on complex business processes, are expected to deliver 10% ROI, equating to an average of US$3 million, for Australian organisations in the next two years.听

Interestingly, at present, only 6% of Australian businesses are fully prepared for AI agents, but 75% recognise their transformative potential.

The Strategic Crisis Hidden in Plain Sight听

When it comes to AI adoption, alignment with business strategy is ranked the most important factor for optimising ROI. However, the research shows this is just one of a range of make-or-break areas where organisations are falling short:听

  1. Business Strategy: Only 10% of Australian businesses are investing in AI in a strategic and holistic manner, with the majority taking a piecemeal approach (46%) or leaving it to individual departments (32%).听
  1. Data Readiness: Despite 64% claiming sufficient data readiness for AI, critical departments like legal (84%), finance (74%), and HR (67%) flag they remain unprepared.听
  1. Skills Investment: Over two thirds (68%) believe insufficient AI skills are a key reason organisations are not gaining maximum ROI for AI. That said, 73% note that they are integrating AI into their workforce planning by upskilling or reskilling current employees.听听

When a coordinated AI strategy is left by the wayside, not only are opportunities impacting the bottom line similarly discarded, but security risks prevail. Three quarters of Australian organisations surveyed are concerned about 鈥渟hadow AI鈥, where employees use unauthorised AI tools. According to 69%, Shadow AI is being used at least occasionally by employees.听听

鈥When organisations take a strategic approach aligned with their long-term vision, building AI into the fabric of how they operate, it deters shadow AI use and elevates the most powerful competitive weapon at their disposal,鈥 concluded Colantuono. 鈥淥rganisations with strategic AI adoption are seeing faster implementation across business functions and significantly higher returns, while future-proofing themselves to keep pace with rapid changes across the tech and business landscapes.鈥澨
