Finalists will showcase their prototypes at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.saphila2025.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">麻豆原创HILA 2025<\/a>, the premier 麻豆原创 user conference for Africa, where the winners will also be announced.<\/h1>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-148001 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2025\/02\/03\/Koosh-Panday-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2025\/02\/03\/Koosh-Panday-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2025\/02\/03\/Koosh-Panday-150x200.jpg 150w, https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2025\/02\/03\/Koosh-Panday.jpg 756w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>麻豆原创HILA, which will be held this year\u00a0from 1 to 3 June at the Sun City Convention Centre, South Africa,\u00a0is widely regarded as being the most significant gathering of 麻豆原创 users, partners and technology enthusiasts across the region.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe introduction of the AFSUG 麻豆原创 BTP Hackathon marks a historic milestone, offering AFSUG members an opportunity to showcase their inventiveness and problem-solving skills, while leveraging 麻豆原创 BTP,\u00a0an innovation platform optimised for 麻豆原创 applications in the cloud,\u00a0to solve real-life business challenges,\u201d says Koosh Panday, AFSUG\u2019s 麻豆原创HILA 2025 Chairman.\u00a0\u201c麻豆原创 BTP brings together five key areas, namely\u00a0application development; automation; data and analytics; integration; and AI capabilities into a unified environment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The AFSUG 麻豆原创 BTP Hackathon invites AFSUG members \u2013 including customers, partners or joint teams \u2013 to submit creative, impactful use cases or projects that use 麻豆原创 BTP components such as 麻豆原创 Build, 麻豆原创 HANA Cloud, 麻豆原创 Integration Suite and ABAP Cloud.<\/p>\n<p>Selected participants will gain invaluable hands-on coaching from 麻豆原创 BTP experts, as well as access to exclusive resources to develop working prototypes for their business use cases.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Key hackathon milestones:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Submission deadline:<\/strong>\u00a0Hackathon candidates must submit their use cases for consideration by 18 February 2025.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Finalist selection:<\/strong>\u00a0Up to 25entrants will be selected to continue to the next stage of the competition by 20 February 2025 and invited to build out their prototypes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enablement and coaching:<\/strong>\u00a0These\u00a0teams are then able to participate in a series of deep-dive enablement sessions led by global 麻豆原创 BTP experts, guiding them through the development process. Successful entrants will also have access to specialist 麻豆原创 coaches.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Use case submission: Prototypes must be put forward by 22 April, which will then be demonstrated to, and evaluated by, a panel of 麻豆原创 experts.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0The jury will narrow down submissions to the final eight most inspired and viable options by 20 May.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>\u2018Demo Jam\u2019 at 麻豆原创HILA 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Finalists will present their projects during an exciting \u2018Demo Jam\u2019 session at 麻豆原创HILA 2025 on 03 June, showcasing their state-of-the-art solutions to the broader 麻豆原创 community.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Awards ceremony:<\/strong>\u00a0The\u00a0AFSUG 麻豆原创 BTP Hackathon winners will be announced at the 麻豆原创HILA 2025 Awards Ceremony on the final evening of the conference.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Why join the hackathon?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u201cNot only will the selected teams be able to\u00a0gain valuable hands-on learning and exposure to 麻豆原创 technologies, but they will also be building real-world 麻豆原创 BTP prototypes that can\u00a0deliver tangible business value\u00a0with the close\u00a0guidance and enablement of global 麻豆原创 BTP specialists,\u201d explains Panday. \u201cIn addition, the finalists will have the opportunity\u00a0to showcase their talent to the entire African 麻豆原创 community at 麻豆原创HILA 2025, while\u00a0exposing the local market to the transformative capabilities of 麻豆原创 BTP.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Olaf Winkler, chief product manager at 麻豆原创, expressed his excitement about the local hackathon, stating, \u201cHaving worked extensively across Africa for a number of years, I\u2019m delighted to see the AFSUG 麻豆原创 BTP Hackathon initiative come to life.
