During the beta testing period, deliveries on the new app will be free.<\/p>\n<p>The supported areas in Cape Town include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bellville<\/li>\n<li>Blouberg<\/li>\n<li>Brackenfell<\/li>\n<li>Camps Bay<\/li>\n<li>Century City<\/li>\n<li>Durbanville<\/li>\n<li>Edgemead<\/li>\n<li>Gardens<\/li>\n<li>Goodwood<\/li>\n<li>Kuils River<\/li>\n<li>Milnerton<\/li>\n<li>Observatory<\/li>\n<li>Parklands<\/li>\n<li>Rondebosch<\/li>\n<li>Table View<\/li>\n<li>Sea Point<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-147452 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2024\/05\/20\/Checkers2-300x214.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"214\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2024\/05\/20\/Checkers2-300x214.png 300w, https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2024\/05\/20\/Checkers2-281x200.png 281w, https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2024\/05\/20\/Checkers2.png 751w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Shoprite strategy and innovation chief <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/neil-schreuder-1898002\/?originalSubdomain=za\">Neil Schreuder<\/a> said the company was confident the next iteration of Sixty60 will again disrupt online retail in South Africa.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur precision delivery promise means no more waiting at home all day for your general merchandise order to arrive,\u201d Schreuder said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCustomers can now choose the 60-minute time slot in which they\u2019d like their Hyper delivery to arrive, with the same to-the-minute driver tracking they\u2019ve become accustomed to on their grocery orders.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The rollout comes after Shoprite CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.shopriteholdings.co.za\/group\/more-about-pieter-engelbrecht.html\">Pieter Engelbrecht<\/a> briefly spoke about the platform\u2019s\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mybroadband.co.za\/news\/it-services\/533031-big-sixty60-app-revamp-coming.html\">revamp<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0during an earnings call on the company\u2019s interim results for the 26 weeks ended 31 December 2023.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-147453 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2024\/05\/20\/Checkers3-300x195.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"195\" srcset=\"https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2024\/05\/20\/Checkers3-300x195.png 300w, https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2024\/05\/20\/Checkers3-308x200.png 308w, https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2024\/05\/20\/Checkers3-768x499.png 768w, https:\/\/news.sap.com\/africa\/files\/2024\/05\/20\/Checkers3.png 794w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>\u201cIn terms of further development.
