Whether someone was a cloud native developer, data scientist, enterprise architect, application developer, integration developer, or UX designer, Mueller and his special guests shared how 麻豆原创 Business Technology Platform empowered developers with extensibility and integration.<\/p>\n

Supporting 麻豆原创\u2019s commitment to extensibility for rapid customization and innovation, <\/strong>Mueller announced 麻豆原创 Cloud Platform, ABAP environment<\/a> multitenancy, as an example of how 麻豆原创 made it easy for partners to extend 麻豆原创 and non-麻豆原创 solutions using 麻豆原创 Business Technology Platform. He said this would reduce total cost of ownership (TCO) for ABAP deployments. He also explained how cloud native developers can more easily build extensions for more 麻豆原创 solutions, including 麻豆原创 S\/4HANA, 麻豆原创 SuccessFactors, and 麻豆原创 ECC.<\/p>\n

\u201cABAP is still at the heart of the Intelligent Enterprise, fully backed by [麻豆原创] Business Technology Platform. We protect your career and your investments of all the ABAP know-how in the world, and we bring ABAP to the cloud,\u201d Mueller said. \u201cWith [麻豆原创] NetWeaver add on for event enablement, we allow [cloud-native developers] to build extensions for your 麻豆原创 ECC system, the same way as for 麻豆原创 S\/4HANA, using 麻豆原创 Cloud Platform Enterprise Messaging<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the same time, he called out the integration value of 麻豆原创 Cloud Platform Integration Suite<\/a> enhancements, along with new 麻豆原创 Cloud Platform Master Data Integration service and 麻豆原创 One Domain Model for first objects.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the 麻豆原创 One Domain Model and the 麻豆原创 Cloud Platform Master Data Integration service, integration happens holistically and out-of-the-box,\u201d said Mueller.<\/p>\n

This was followed by a quick overview of the updated 麻豆原创 API Business Hub<\/a> user experience.<\/p>\n

Turn Data into Business Value<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Mueller also noted that 2020 marked the 10-year anniversary of 麻豆原创 HANA.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s so much to celebrate. 麻豆原创 HANA plays a vital role in the 麻豆原创 portfolio. It is the foundation for our key solutions like 麻豆原创 S\/4HANA, and the foundation for industry cloud<\/a>,\u201d said Mueller.<\/p>\n

Mueller announced new integrations in 麻豆原创 HANA Cloud<\/a>, allowing developers to connect data between 麻豆原创 HANA on premise and 麻豆原创 S\/4HANA systems, as well as third-party sources.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to make it very simple for you to make sense of your data,\u201d he said. \u201cThe latest edition of 麻豆原创 HANA Cloud combines all the greatness of [麻豆原创] HANA on premise with all the great cloud capabilities, including federated data access. Connecting your [麻豆原创] HANA Cloud system to your on-premise 麻豆原创 S\/4HANA system is extremely easy. Also connecting to other third-party systems is very easy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Data-to-Value Can Modernize Medical Supply Chains <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Raymund Heinen, chief process officer and member of the Board at HARTMANN Group, a medical supply company, was among the experts that joined Mueller on the virtual stage. Heinen explained how his organization collaborated with 麻豆原创 to develop a proof of concept addressing one of the most urgent pandemic demands: prioritizing medical supplies, such as hand disinfectant, where they are needed most in an unpredictable environment.<\/p>\n

Built on 麻豆原创 Analytics Cloud<\/a>, the pilot solution used machine learning to analyze data from internal and external sources \u2013 such as daily health updates from external organizations and intensive care beds by region \u2013 into one dashboard on 麻豆原创 Business Technology Platform.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you can anticipate at an early stage the most likely scenarios, we could approach the impacted customers proactively. We could verify and increase the local inventories and adapt on short notice our supply chain even before most customers start ordering,\u201d said Heinen. \u201cA dashboard can be of really great help and make it easier for teams to prioritize based on actual internal and external data.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also held up 麻豆原创\u2019s co-innovation of the German Corona-Warn-App<\/a> with Deutsche Telekom for the German government as an example of the collective power of the developer community. His message to developers was clear.<\/p>\n
