With 42 customers, representing 17 organizations from West Africa, the Âé¶¹Ô´´ Enterprise Support and Cloud Day celebrated in Lagos, Nigeria, was a great place for Âé¶¹Ô´´ Enterprise Support customers to learn about value realization tools and services available in their support models, services available for their Âé¶¹Ô´´ S/4HANA move, and also to network and ask questions to Âé¶¹Ô´´ experts and other peers.
Gerhard Alberts (Head of Maintenance GTM Africa) welcomed the attendees with an opening session, followed by Mary Kimani (Customer Success Manager for East and West Africa) main speaker of the event.

In addition, Mary assured the customers that the Âé¶¹Ô´´ Enterprise Support Advisory Council (ESAC) was eagerly awaiting to walk alongside customers in regards to their Âé¶¹Ô´´ S/4HANA Move, besides providing an opportunity for customers to co-innovate with Âé¶¹Ô´´.

After a tea break, Juzar Badami (Dangote Group Head of Âé¶¹Ô´´ Center of Excellence) spoke about the benefits of Âé¶¹Ô´´ Enterprise Support services and their collaboration with Âé¶¹Ô´´ experts through the Âé¶¹Ô´´ Enterprise Support Value Maps, with a concrete example of how this collaboration worked in streamlining their database and custom code prior migrating to Âé¶¹Ô´´ S/4HANA.
In this regard, Juzar explained how significantly their database was reduced after they implemented the recommendations of the CQC Data Volume Management (DVM), with the guidance from the Âé¶¹Ô´´ Enterprise Support Data Volume Management Value Map team.
Dangote Group is now expecting to go live with a brownfield Âé¶¹Ô´´ S/4HANA implementation in the second quarter of 2020.

For the last session of the day, Ibukun Olufon (Âé¶¹Ô´´ Sales, GB) hosted a Cloud discussion panel where customers could get clarity about how to engage with Âé¶¹Ô´´, irrespective of their platform.
Ibukun was on stage with Olurotimi Ige (Âé¶¹Ô´´ HANA Enterprise Cloud), Foluso Ade-Ogunrinde (Âé¶¹Ô´´ Business by Design), and Jerry Egboh (Âé¶¹Ô´´ SuccessFactors)
The panel showed to be very beneficial as many customers, especially with hybrid platforms, took turns asking questions to the presenters in the Q&A time.
